Dr. Abudulai Sulemana
Dr Sulemana Abudulai has worked as a senior member of the International Grants Team of Comic Relief for nearly 10 years, until the end of July 2009. Dr Sulemana was honoured by The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) on its 75th year anniversary in April 2010 as one of the most significant contributors to the development of Ghana.
Abudulai has a BSc in Land Economy from the University of Science and Technology (Ghana), an MSc in Rural and Regional Resources Planning (University of Aberdeen), and a PhD in Land Economy (University of Cambridge).
He has combined field research with programme development for various British NGOs including ActionAid, Womankind Worldwide, CAMFED, and Action on Disability and Development. Abudulai is a Research Associate at the Cambridge Centre for African Studies, and a member of the Board of Trustees of various NGOs in the UK and Africa.
